Q: What will the 2D video experience be like?
When your end-users point their phones at the trigger image of a 2D video enabled experience, a 2D video will appear on screen seeming attached to the front of the trigger image.
How the video plays depend on the playback options selected when you created the AR experience: it will start automatically but may or may not loop. You may also decide whether to give your users the ability to pause and fast-forward, etc.
Q: Which video formats are supported?
- MP4 files encoded using X.264 codec under 10 GB size.
- For best results, we recommend: MP4 video with at least 720p resolution under 10 GB.
Q: How many videos can I upload?
A: One video per experience. But you can create as many experiences as you’d like.
Q: What 2D video resolutions are supported?
A: Between 640x480 (480p) and 1920x1080 (1080p).
Q: What are the requirements for optimal streaming performance?
A: We recommend a 4G LTE network connection or a Wi-Fi access point with few users, such as one in your home or a small café. A congested network degrades performance.
