When you start creating your new experience, the left panel should have the Trigger component open by default.
Upload an image file, either .jpg or .png format. The Trigger component provides two ways to do this.
- Move your mouse over the image area, and when the prompt appears click on the upload icon to open your computer’s file system. Browse to the image file you want and then click Open.
- Open your computer’s file system and find the image file you want to upload. Then drag that file from the system browser to the image area in the Trigger component to begin the upload process.
Once uploaded, AR Designer still must process it. This may take a few moments.

Use unique trigger images. Envrmnt requires that every trigger image you upload be unique among all your projects. If you’ve used this image as a trigger before - or an image similar to it - AR Designer will reject it. |
When complete, AR Designer displays the image both in the component panel as well as in the 3D workspace.
Every uploaded image is rated for its Trigger Strength. A Strong image will usually be recognized more quickly by your app. An image rated Medium may not work well under certain conditions. A Weak image will be unreliable and should be reworked.
