The model you upload can have a name that will appear in the top right of your app’s screen as the model is being viewed in augmented reality. You can see this name displayed in the workspace preview.
You may change this name to whatever you like. Just edit the text in the header of the model’s card in the 3D Model component on the left.
If this model is one of several you intend to make available in your 3D Model true space experience, it will be presented in the carousel menu at the bottom of the mobile app’s screen.
You will need to upload a new image to represent the model in this carousel. Click on the the Thumbnail tab near the top of the card for that model.
Upload an image file (.png or .jpg) in either of two ways:
- Click on Upload an image to open your computer’s file system. Browse to the image file you want and then click Open.
- Open your computer’s file system and find the image file you want to upload. Then drag that file from the system browser to the image area in the component to begin the upload process.
Scale and position your thumbnail image. The image you uploaded doesn’t need to be square, but the image buttons must be square. You can adjust how to best crop the image by clicking and dragging the image around. You can also scale the image up to 2x with the slider bar, if you want to focus on a certain part of the image.
Update! After you’ve uploaded your button image, and after you’ve adjusted how it is cropped, you must click on the Update button for it to take affect (and appear in your workspace. Skip this step and your changes might be lost.
The title or description that goes with the thumbnail can be entered in the text field above the thumbnail upload section. Click where it says Enter title here and begin typing.
