Below the trigger strength rating area is an area for setting the Image Print Size. If you plan to have your trigger image printed out and made available to your intended users, you will want to seriously consider using this feature.
Is it a magazine cover, or a billboard, or a business card? Input the height and the app will figure out the rest. You can enter the size in inches, feet, centimeters, and meters.
|Image print size matters especially with 3D object experiences. The model you use will be to a predefined scale, and you will want an accurate representation of how big your trigger image is relative to the 3D model that appears with it.|
AR Designer will default the trigger image to be 11” tall, a typical page in a magazine or a full screen image on a computer screen. The image will appear that size in the 3D workspace. When you enter a different height value, the 3D workspace will update to show this.
|Note that the image that you associate to this trigger image will also resize whenever you resize its trigger. The two will keep the same size and position relative to one another, whatever the trigger image's size.|
